COBRA Administration

COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act) requires group health plans to offer continuation coverage to covered employees, former employees, spouses, former spouses, and dependent children when group health coverage would otherwise be lost due to certain events.   Employers are required to provide their employees of their rights through the Model General Notice provided below.  Continuation of coverage may last up to 18, 29 or 36 months depending on the qualifying event or events.  Working with you, Employee Benefits Solutions will:

  • Notify your COBRA eligible beneficiaries of their COBRA rights

  • Collect COBRA premiums

  • Track all applicable time frames

  • Work with your insurance providers to ensure proper coverage levels. 

  • Provide monthly reports to the employer
